The picturesque hillside vineyards are planted to the classic Rhone varieties which include Mourvedre, Viognier, Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Zinfandel and Sangiovese Brunello, which are keystone wines at this beautiful winery. The Temecula Hills Winery and Oak Mountain Winery are both family-run small wineries where the owner Steve creates all of our award-winning and delicious wines, performs all of our construction and repairs while his wife Valerie does all of the rest; from bookkeeping, permits, working in the tasting room, shipping , events and wine club. The hard-work and dedication from both of them has truly helped the Temecula Hills Winery and Oak Mountain Winery blossom into successful and popular wineries in the Temecula Valley Wine Country.

At the Temecula Hills Winery and Oak Mountain Winery, only the owners, Steve and Valerie, grow and produce all of the unique wines at the winery, such as their popular Counoise. Both Steve and Valerie are very interactive with their wine club members and customers, often giving barrel tastes of their delicious wines. Temecula Hills Winery & Oak Mountain Winery Started:

The story begins with an intense, meticulous and an insatiable desire to make the best wine possible and create the most incredible winery and vineyards in the Temecula Valley Wine Country that defines proprietor and wine maker Stephen Andrews. Stephen, the wine maker, never dreamed of owning his own winery and vineyard in Temecula, California. That all changed after Valerie came into his life.

Valerie’s Dad, Ed Snyder, was in the gourmet wine and liquor business starting in the 60′s carrying some of the best hand-crafted wines in his stores, including wines from Hart winery and Brander. Then, in 2005, he took over the family painting business and Temecula Hills Winery was born.

At this time, the Temecula Hills Winery, which opened its doors in 2000, had been in operation for five years making premium hand-crafted wines. The loyal wine connoisseurs of the Temecula Hills Winery voiced their desire for the wine tasting room to be opened seven days a week and closer to the town part of Temecula. In response, Steve and Valerie opened the Oak Mountain Winery in 2005 and have been growing their wine making business and vineyard ever since.

When Temecula Hills Winery opened Steve sold the towing company to become a full time wine-maker and continues making the award winning wines for Temecula Hills Winery and Oak Mountain Winery in the amazingly stunning hillsides of the Temecula Valley Wine Country. With Valerie by his side running the tasting room, events and management of all operations of both wineries are becoming more popular and successful. Steve completed his ecology courses for wine-making from UC Davis and takes continuing education in viticulture and ecology classes to keep up on the latest improvements in wine-making operations. Valerie continues her continuing education on tasting room management, employee relations, marketing and federal document processing.
